Extension of naturalization period would result with a dramatic decrease in number of HSMs willing to relocate to the Netherlands. It shows that the conditions can be changed any time, even after the big decision one made on their lives. This damages the reliable image of the system. The conditions and requirements should stay the same for people who have been adapted already. The cost for companies of losing HSMs before the country is ready to replace those people with nationals would be irreversible.
