I would like to politely oppose this move. People like me coming to Netherlands as skilled migrants and loving the country, trying to make this out home are demotivated by this. The move will just push people away and you need good people from all backgrounds to make this a breeding ground for innovation, collaboration and harmony. So I will say keep the naturalisation time to 5 years and you can still control proper integration via a stricter language level like A2 or B1 to make sure people are well versed in Dutch way of things.
