Why this is a bad idea:

1. I am someone who have been living in the Netherlands for the last 4 years. I haven't purhcased a house yet cause I always feared if I loose my job, I would need to exit the country within 90 days. Due to this, I always wanted to buy a house after I become a citizen. Please understand the larger implication of this change and how it can impact individuals like me and how it can impact the banking + housing market.

2. Working professional's who do not speak dutch language already have a very small job market. Various job's are only open to Dutch Speaker's and due to this there is already a very tight job market. Hence, learning dutch become a key aspect for professional growth. That's why mostly all working professional pick up dutch language within 3rd or the 4th year. If you change the law then you are indirectly asking them to relax and not take dutch asap. This change will indirectly delay the the integration you want to acheive.

3. Germany secure's their working professionals by giving them unlimited stay in the germany after 2.7 years of employment on Blue Card. However, in the Netherland. If I loose a job I need to move out within 90 days. Working professionals are already taking lot of risk and also paying the highest amount of tax and this change will demotivate the working class. Shift their mindset to Germany.

4. If you want to change the rule from 5 to 10 years then please bring some sort of PR concept which safe gaurds working professionals. Meaning, they don't need exit the country even if they do not have a job. Meaning, their kids can still go to school and not worry about re-location.
