I think it is a wrong move. When a person with his family moves to Netherlands under work visa, the condition is that the person is always sponsored by the company for 5 years. During my time of 4.5yrs, i have gone through a layoff time that puts immense stress on me mentally and on my family. If it is for 10yrs, this creates more uncertainty and i dont see why I should integrate. I should move out if the country because if the uncertainty that directly affect my family. But i do think that the government sees skilled immigrants as an asset because we only give more than we take.
I kindly request to not apply this rule and make it easier for skilled immigrants to come into country to fill the labour gap. We already have a shortage of engineers and i find it difficult to help out when there is a lot of uncertainty.
