Extending it to ten years is a regressive step that will isolate dedicated residents, stifle economic growth, and betray the Netherlands' historical reputation as an open and tolerant society.

We strongly recommend rejecting this bill and instead focusing on policies that genuinely support and accelerate the integration of those who have chosen to make the Netherlands their home.
