I fully support to keep naturalisation period to 5-year (As it was earlier) - it encourages integration, strengthens communities, and empowers people to fully participate in Dutch life.
Also for expats rather Highly Skilled Migrants like us will no longer prefer Netherlands as a country to work and settle if it plans to extend this period to 10 years. At least whoever has already entered and started working here before this law gets passed should be allowed 5 years naturalisation period to gain the trust and to offer fair policy.
