I still believe that the naturalization period should be 5 years, at least for HSM holders who have been here for more than 4 years and are about to be eligible for naturalization, because most of us are working hard to integrate with Dutch culture, in addition to contributing knowledge, by learning the language and integrating professionally at work. They came here with the intention of starting a life, not relying on government assistance and clearly contributing to the country's growth through taxation and investment.
