It is an absolutely unreasonable proposal. The highly skilled migrants who come here legally and pay Dutch taxes find it even more difficult to build a life here. The government should work on the problem of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers instead of making things harder for people who came here to generate revenue for The Netherlands. I strongly oppose this idea. A lot of people will instead move to the UK or Ireland leaving the Netherlands job market in even bad state than it already is.
