I do not agree with the extension of the naturalization period to 10 years. A longer waiting time creates unnecessary obstacles for integration and participation in society. People who have already lived, worked, and contributed to the Netherlands for many years should not face additional barriers to becoming full members of the community. The current period is already sufficient to assess integration, and extending it to 10 years risks discouraging people and slowing down their social and economic contribution.
