This is not a favorable condition. Netherlands is already a very costly place. Top of that amendment to 30% ruling and now this proposal will make Netherlands less attractive to highly skilled migrants which are essential for growth of industries and economic development. I think integration in the society is related more to the language skills and culture acceptance than mere years spent in the country. B1 level dutch language skill and programs to integrate in society will be great alternative to this proposal.
