The idea of ??increasing the naturalization period from 5 to 10 That doesn't feel fair.
i do not like this change .
Firstly, it makes integration more difficult: as long as you're not a citizen, you feel like you're practically excluded from society. People invest less in language, work, and their future if they have to wait so long.

It's also economically disadvantageous: without certainty, many people postpone buying a house or starting a business. Moreover, highly educated people are more likely to choose countries where naturalization is faster.

What I find particularly unfair is that many people have lived in the Netherlands for years and are planning their lives based on the 5-year period. If the rules suddenly change, their plans fall apart.
