U kunt op de gehele regeling en memorie van toelichting reageren.
With due respect,I believe this should not be applied retrospectively to people already living in the Netherlands. It would meaningful and not discriminatory if a transition period is applied for people living here with families. This Dutch passport as the supporting document says is not just a tool someone uses for free travel within the EU but it has a lot more values and meaning attached to it. Increasing it to 10 years is like punishing people and doesn't automatically mean better integration.
From a financial perspective, the gementees and IND will lose money when the Govt is already posting a deficit for the first time. Maybe you can look at increasing the fees for naturalisation instead which people will be more than happy to pay.
