Changing my status from 5 to 10 years puts my stay in the country at risk. I am a High-Skill Migrant and recently bought a house. My children go to school and are living a Dutch life. My plan is to live forever in the country, integrating into its culture, but the increase in years puts my stay at risk. This change will create a wave of uncertainty and possible migration from the country, creating economic gaps for people who contribute to society with our taxes and enrich the country with our contributions.
