I disagree with increasing the naturalisation period from 5 to 10 years.
This change would destroy the hopes and dreams of many young people who moved to the Netherlands to build a better future.
Five years is already a long time to prove commitment and integration.
Extending it to ten years would make people feel less welcome and less motivated to contribute to Dutch society.
