The government should include fair transition rules for people who are already close to meeting the current 5-year requirement, for example within one year.This new rule of changing from 5 to 10 year is not good for skilled migrants who contribute greatly to the Dutch economy and society. Skilled workers bring innovation, knowledge, and tax revenue, which strengthen the economy.
