I disagree with extending the naturalization period to ten years. I moved to the Netherlands with my family, and we are doing our best to integrate into Dutch society through work, language learning, and community involvement. Changing the rules now feels unfair to people who moved here based on the current conditions.

It would create more stress and uncertainty, especially for those of us who depend on company sponsorship to stay. It would also make it harder for us to feel secure and truly part of the Netherlands, and could make the country less attractive to international talent who bring valuable skills and innovation.
