It would be more reasonable if this rule were applied only to newcomers. For instance, who arrived before January 2022 should only be required to obtain level A2 for Inburgering, and the same requirement should be maintained for naturalisation. Applying different standards retroactively may be considered unfair to those who have already been residing here for the past four to five years.
