Vraag1
N.v.t.
I am a UK citizen married to a Dutch citizen. We moved to NL and with Brexit I would like to keep my EU citizenship. I am learning Dutch and am OK with A2. However, I am almost 60years old and retired. We take no money from the state and are self-sufficient. I look at B1 and I find it very difficult. Too difficult at my age. This situation is stressful enough.
I would like you to consider exemptions for EU/UK citizens who arrived (and resident) and have taken/passed any A2 exams. Further if you implement B1 can you delay the introduction until 2022. The Covid-19 has made the normal learning and taking of exams very difficult and timing is not good if I have to take and pass all exams AND apply for naturalisation before July 2021. An extension would give me and others valuable time post Covid to book and take and possibly re-take exams.
I am so looking forward to becoming Dutch. Please do not make it almost impossible for me to become one with B1.
