Please do not forbid diverse flavors for e-liquid. This is an important component for those adults—like me—who use vaping as a way to quit smoking. Now that vaping has been around for several years, we see an increasing body of scientific research on vaping. This growing scientific consensus advises that vaping is—in general—an effective smoking cessation intervention for adults. Limiting consumer choice will prevent adults from choosing a flavor that works for them, making it even harder to quit smoking. Restrictions on vaping that are not based in scientific research will ensure that yet another generation of adults will die in large numbers from lung cancer, because they will have lost an important option for smoking cessation.
