EBAA as the representative of 780 companies in the business aviation sector, has not had the opportunity to actively participate in the dialogue thus far. However, we would like to emphasize our keenness to contribute constructively to the project in the future. We firmly believe that our industry holds a vital role in the aviation ecosystem and can contribute significantly to the overall goals of the project.
Business aviation, being a leading innovator, has consistently strived for environmental sustainability and noise reduction. We take great pride in operating the quietest aircraft with the lowest noise profile. Our commitment to technological advancements has enabled us to achieve remarkable progress in noise mitigation, aligning with the objectives of the Balanced Approach Project.
• GA/BA is fully aligned and supportive with your Balanced Approach study/report
• GA/BA is actually already doing their contribution in regards to some of the suggestions on your Balanced Approach report :
o Night Curfew – already in place for GA/BA
o Less than 3% of the total movement of GA/BA A/C in AMS are from the S1 noise level (most noisy A/C), all the rest from the much less noisier categories due to all the technological improvements developed by GA/BA.
