Vraag1

1. If you look at the 3 regions that we focus on (MENA, Horn of Africa, Sahel) – can you mention specific trends per region which are relevant for the strategy. Are there, for example, specific sectors where there is much to be gained? Or specific skills that young people lack in a certain region or sector?

Ik ben het volledig eens met de heer Beoletto hiervoor. Ik vind het te zot voor woorden dat wij als Nederland hiervoor een strategie bedenken. Dit is aan de overheden en het management van deze landen zelf. Wij kunnen ons beter concentreren op jongeren in ons eigen land. Dat is hard nodig.

Als je dan een strategie wilt bedenken, doe dit dan in Europees verband. Ik vind het ongelooflijk arrogant. Stel je toch eens voor dat de Afrikaanse landen een strategie zouden gaan bedenken voor de Nederlandse jongeren: het land zou te klein zijn!!
